Deluxe Cab Best In Class

A NEW POINT OF VIEW - New Holland Construction introduces deluxe cabs for skid steers and compact track loaders

New Holland has introduced a new deluxe cab design for its six model Super Boom skid steer loader range and the three model compact track loader range.

The deluxe cab features increased space, visibility, operator comfort and ease of operation for greater work site efficiency. The large, convex glass door opens a full 90 degrees for easy entry and exit. On the enclosed cab, enhanced downward sight lines provide a better view to the loader bucket, into the trench and to the tracks on compact track loaders. The curved, full-view door features more glass for an outstanding view to the work site. A repositioned windshield wiper helps to ensure a clearer view in all work conditions. Visibility to the rear is good with a large rear window, low engine hood and no rear frame towers to block the view.

The see-through roof panel provides a clear view to the bucket or attachment – even when positioned at full height. Side windows can be locked into position and remain stationary during operation and then easily removed without tools when it’s time for cleaning. Like the side windows, the optional cab top window can be easily removed without tools for cleaning.

The cab interior features full-covering, noise-absorbing trim for an even more comfortable, quieter place to work. Available as an option, an additional sound-suppression package reduces noise levels by up to three decibels from the operator’s station. The backlit instrument panel features logical labelling for easy operation and is vertically mounted for better visibility.

Contoured arm rests provide more elbow and forearm support during long hours on the job site and operator controls are vertically positioned to provide easier accessibility and avoid obstructing the view. The heater/defroster kit and optional air conditioning allows the operator to control the climate in any weather.

The new cab also features an enhanced lighting package that extends operator visibility and productivity in the early morning and late evening, as well as in dusty or foggy conditions. The slimmer front lights on the cab improve the view to the upper corners, making it easier to position loads overhead, manoeuvre in low clearance areas or see the bucket or attachment when positioned at full height.

Additional halogen lighting on the rear of the cab dramatically increases the illumination area. The improved cab structure is also available for New Holland’s open ROPS skid steers and compact track loaders, providing a clearer view to a fully raised bucket. The enhanced lighting package and contoured arm rests are also standard with the open ROPS units.

The six New Holland skid steer models can tackle a variety of landscaping, construction, demolition or farming applications.

Combining the superior reach and lift capacity of the exclusive Super Boom loader arm design with the good flotation, traction, and stability of tracks, the three New Holland compact track loader models can handle tough ground conditions such as soft or wet ground or steep slopes.
