BACKHOE LOADERS
B90B / B110B / B115B
• New front loader control lever • Pilot “command controls” • High front loader performance
MAXIMUM STRENGTH OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE
New Holland backhoe loaders feature a strong box section design boom and dipper that is also narrow, so visibility is excellent down the length of the boom to the bucket, at all dig depths. A Hydraulic Extending Dipper, HED, is available for maximum dig depth, reach and loading ability. HED increases productivity as fewer operating positional moves are required. The externally mounted “in line” cylinder design gives optimum utilisation of hydraulic forces.
INTELLIGENT HYDRAULICS
The innovative Load Sensing / Flow Compensation hydraulic system ensures that the maximum power available is directed where needed, providing outstanding digging performances, greater lift capacity and faster loading cycles. Even an inexperienced operator can achieve good productivity thanks to a system that adjusts itself according to resistance encountered whilst digging.

Engine and boom for power and ease
by Jamie Wad
New Holland Construction’s new B110B backhoe features a curved boom design that makes it more compact without compromising on reach or digging depth, according to New Holland Product Manager, Kieron Thompson.
“The new boom design makes the machine easier to move between jobsites thanks to its reduced transport height and width. It’s a very valuable feature, particularly for companies working across different sites or councils that frequently move between locations or work around low hanging trees,” Kieron said. “The curved backhoe boom and larger dipper cylinder, along with a new backhoe bucket shape, give an improved backhoe digging performance in addition to reducing the transport height.”
The B110B features the latest New Holland Tier III engine for more power with less fuel consumption and lower emissions.
“The new generation common rail engine guarantees that fuel is injected into the cylinders at very high pressure, and the volume of fuel is electronically controlled so that the right amount is injected at exactly the right moment. Intake air is provided by the high efficiency turbo and intercooler system. This technology helps reduce fuel consumption and emissions as well as considerably improving mid range torque,” Kieron said.
Service and maintenance tasks are made easier by the inclusion of a redesigned tilting bonnet, grouped pressure check points and a diagnostic port in the main cab. In terms of operator comfort, the new B110B has a long list of features.
“The cab is incredibly roomy, with lots of glass for all-round visibility, ergonomically positioned controls and side and door windows which can be latched partially or fully opened,” Kieron says.
“Optional Backhoe Pilot Command Controls provide operators with an extremely comfortable working environment by allowing them to customise the control positions. Command Controls can be switched between backhoe and excavator pattern on demand.
“A new feature is a deceleration button, which when pushed, returns the engine to idle. Pushing it again returns the engine to the previous setting. Using the deceleration button can help reduce fuel consumption during stop start jobs.
“The B110B is powerful, durable, efficient and comfortable. It will help reduce operating costs and maximise production, thereby boosting profit,” Kieron said.
